We want to celebrate diversity and languages in science and education across Europe
According to EU & UN reports, migrant children are on average twice as likely to underachieve in science than their non-migrant peers
It doesn’t have to be like this!
We connect children and scientists of the same migrant community by organizing science workshops in a shared heritage language
We do it to broaden the horizons of children, promote scientific literacy and higher education, and foster language development.
Key features of the workshops
Science Tapas
Children get to "taste" different fields of science and all fields are welcomed!
Integral learning
Children talk about science in their heritage language during the workshop.
Carousel Format
Children are divided into groups and interact with several scientists in a single workshop.
Where we are
Countries & Languages
For each country/city and language, we have at least one volunteer scientist who is the Coordinator.
